Midwest Nature- Its Beauty and Its Peril

A. 1-2 images in jpeg format, 300 dpi, as one of the works will be selected for the catalogue. Jpeg size is 6?x8? with a minimum of 1500 pixels on the smallest side.

B. Label images with following information (Artists? Name, Title, Medium, Size, and Year Produced. (i.e., Jane Smith_Storm on the Prairie_watercolor_18x24 inches_2023)

C. Cost is $35 for up to two works per artist paid through Paypal.

D. All artists applying must be members of the National Women?s Caucus for Art. If you are not a member, please go to the following link: https://nwca.memberclicks.net and pay the fee for joining the NWCA.

E. A disclaimer form regarding liability must be filled out and signed. Watch for an email from Dennis Buck, Heritage Interpretation and Collections Supervisor of Mayslake-Peabody. The estate insures visitors from bodily injury but does not insure artwork.

F. Upon sale of work, 25% goes to Mayslake-Peabody and 75% to artist. Checks will be mailed to the artist within 4 weeks after the show is taken down.

G.Drop-off date for the accepted works is Wednesday, June 4th, from 9 AM-12 PM.

H. Bring a brief statement about the work (i.e., meaning, price, etc.), a one-page bio (no more than 200 words), and any publicity material for a notebook that will be at the gallery. The statements, subject to editing, will also be used in the catalogue.
