NATURE REIMAGINED
A Juried Virtual Art Exhibition Presented by CEV Art Gallery

CEV Art Gallery invites artists to explore the beauty, complexity, power, and imagination of the natural world in Nature Reimagined, a juried virtual art exhibition celebrating all things nature.

From landscapes and wildlife to botanical studies, natural textures, environmental concepts, imagined ecosystems, and abstract interpretations of the world around us, artists are encouraged to submit work that reflects their unique relationship with nature.

We welcome traditional, contemporary, conceptual, abstract, and mixed-media approaches and encourage artists to interpret the theme creatively.

EXHIBITION THEME:
Nature Reimagined explores the many ways artists see, experience, interpret, and reinvent the natural world.

-Possible subjects include, but are not limited to:
-Landscapes and seascapes
-Flora and botanical subjects
-Wildlife and animals
-Birds, insects, and marine life
-Mountains, forests, deserts, oceans, and skies
-Natural textures, patterns, and forms
-Environmental themes
-Seasons and natural phenomena
-Abstract interpretations of nature
-Imagined or surreal natural environments
-Human relationships with the natural world
-Contemporary and conceptual interpretations of nature

Artists are encouraged to think beyond literal representations and present their own creative interpretation of the natural world.

1st Place — Featured Artist Award
The 1st Place artist will receive:
A 2D/3D Solo Exhibition with CEV Art Gallery
A curated digital exhibition catalog
An artist interview with CEV Art Gallery
Dedicated social media and email campaign promotion
Featured homepage listing on the CEV Art Gallery website
Official 1st Place award/promotion graphic

2nd Place — Featured Artist Award

The 2nd Place artist will receive:
An artist interview with CEV Art Gallery
Artwork display through CEV Art Gallery
Dedicated social media and email campaign promotion
Official 2nd Place award/promotion graphic

Finalists

All remaining selected artists will be recognized as Finalists and will receive:
Inclusion in the virtual exhibition
Social media promotion
Email campaign promotion
Official Finalist award/promotion graphic

All Participating Artists

All artists who submit to Nature Reimagined will receive a promotional/participation graphic recognizing their participation.

Selection for the exhibition and awards is determined through the CEV Art Gallery juror process.

JURIED SELECTION PROCESS:

Submissions will be reviewed by a selected CEV Art Gallery jury.

Jurors will consider the overall strength of the submitted artwork in relation to the exhibition theme, including:
Creative interpretation of the theme
Artistic execution
Originality
Presentation
Overall visual and artistic impact

The juror process is intentionally streamlined. Artists are not required to submit lengthy written materials.

The jury will select:
One (1) 1st Place artist
One (1) 2nd Place artist
Additional artists as Finalists
All juror decisions are final.

CEV Art Gallery does not provide individual juror scores, rankings, critiques, or feedback.

NOTIFICATION & PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT:

-Selected artists and award recipients will receive private notification one day before the public exhibition announcement.
-This early notification provides selected artists with an opportunity to preview their recognition before the exhibition is publicly announced.
-The selected artists and exhibition will be publicly announced on the official exhibition opening date.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Artists may submit artwork according to the submission options provided through Entrythingy.
Please ensure that all submitted information is complete, accurate, and ready for publication.

Artwork Description

Each submitted artwork must include a brief description of no more than two sentences.
Please keep the description concise and focused on the submitted artwork.

Artist Bio or Artist Statement

Artists may provide either a short artist bio or artist statement of no more than 100 words.
Please do not exceed the 100-word limit.

Artwork Image

Submitted artwork images must be:

Clear and properly oriented, no background. Must be cropped to the border of the work.
High quality
Representative of the actual artwork
Suitable for online exhibition and promotional use

Artists are responsible for ensuring that their artist name, artwork title, medium, dimensions, artwork description, and other requested information are accurate before completing their submission.

SUBMISSION DISCLAIMER

Submission to the exhibition does not guarantee acceptance or selection. Please carefully review the exhibition theme and ensure that your submitted artwork aligns with the stated theme and eligibility requirements. Artwork that does not meet the exhibition criteria may not be selected.

CONTENT & SUBMISSION POLICY:

CEV Art Gallery is committed to maintaining a professional, inclusive, and gallery-appropriate exhibition environment.

The following content is not permitted and will result in automatic disqualification without refund:
-AI-generated artwork or artwork created primarily through generative artificial intelligence
-Nudity or sexually explicit content
-Sadistic, excessively violent, or graphic content
-Vulgar, offensive, or obscene content
-Content that is otherwise deemed inappropriate for a professional gallery environment

By submitting artwork, artists acknowledge and agree to this Content & Submission Policy.

CEV Art Gallery reserves the right to determine whether submitted artwork complies with the exhibition's content standards.

Artwork that violates these guidelines may be removed from consideration or from the exhibition at any stage.

No refunds will be issued for submissions that are disqualified for violating the Content & Submission Policy.

ARTWORK RIGHTS & OWNERSHIP:
Artists retain full ownership and copyright of their artwork.
CEV Art Gallery does not purchase, acquire, or claim ownership of submitted artwork.

By submitting artwork, artists grant CEV Art Gallery a non-exclusive, limited permission to display, reproduce, and promote the submitted artwork for purposes directly related to the exhibition and CEV Art Gallery's promotional activities.

This permission may include:

Displaying artwork in the CEV Art Gallery 2D online portfolio
Displaying artwork in the CEV Art Gallery virtual 3D exhibition
Including artwork in the exhibition catalog
Featuring artwork on the CEV Art Gallery website
Using artwork images in social media campaigns
Using artwork images in email marketing
Creating promotional materials related to the exhibition
Promoting the artist and exhibition through CEV Art Gallery marketing channels

CEV Art Gallery does not acquire ownership, copyright, or exclusive rights to submitted artwork.

Artists remain free to sell, license, display, reproduce, or otherwise use their artwork independently, subject to any separate agreements they may have with third parties.

By submitting artwork, artists confirm that they own or otherwise possess the necessary rights to submit the work and authorize CEV Art Gallery to use the artwork as described in these terms.

EXHIBITION FORMAT:
Nature Reimagined will be presented as a virtual exhibition through CEV Art Gallery.

Selected artwork may be displayed through:
CEV Art Gallery's 2D online portfolio
CEV Art Gallery's virtual 3D exhibition
Digital exhibition catalog
CEV Art Gallery website
Social media
Email marketing campaigns
The 3D exhibition is a temporary virtual exhibition experience for the show dates.

Artwork selected for the CEV Art Gallery 2D online portfolio may remain available indefinitely as part of the gallery's ongoing digital exhibition archive.

ELIGIBILITY:
Nature Reimagined is open to artists working in a variety of mediums and artistic disciplines.
Artists may submit original artwork that appropriately reflects the exhibition theme.
Artists must submit only artwork that they have the legal right to display and promote.

ENTRY FEE & REFUND POLICY:
The applicable submission fee is required at the time of entry.
All entry fees are non-refundable.

ENTRY FEES
Standard Entry — $27 = Up to 4 artworks.
Extended Entry — 5 to 10 artworks ($3 per artwork)

HOW ENTRY FEES SUPPORT THE EXHIBITION
Entry fees help cover the costs of producing, judging, promoting, and administering the exhibition.

Once a submission has been completed, the entry fee will not be refunded due to:
Withdrawal of a submission
Failure to be selected
Failure to receive an award
Change of circumstances
Duplicate submission
Failure to meet eligibility requirements
Violation of exhibition guidelines
Violation of the Content & Submission Policy
Any other reason

AGREEMENT TO TERMS

By submitting artwork to Nature Reimagined, the artist confirms that:
The submitted artwork is their own original work or that they possess the legal rights necessary to submit it.
They have the authority to grant CEV Art Gallery the limited promotional and exhibition rights described in these terms.
They understand that submission does not guarantee selection.
They understand that juror decisions are final.
They understand that individual juror scores, rankings, critiques, and feedback will not be provided.
They understand that all entry fees are non-refundable.
They understand and agree to CEV Art Gallery's Content & Submission Policy.
They retain ownership and copyright of their artwork.

They grant CEV Art Gallery the non-exclusive permission necessary to exhibit and promote their submitted artwork as described above.

They understand that selected artwork may remain in CEV Art Gallery's permanent 2D digital exhibition archive.

They agree to the exhibition, promotional, notification, and participation terms outlined in this Call for Artists.
