INTERGALACTIC SPACES
A Juried Virtual Art Exhibition Presented by CEV Art Gallery
CEV Art Gallery invites artists to journey beyond the familiar and explore the limitless possibilities of the universe in Intergalactic Spaces, a juried virtual art exhibition inspired by space, celestial environments, distant worlds, and the imagination of what exists beyond our planet.
Artists are encouraged to explore galaxies, planets, stars, cosmic landscapes, space travel, extraterrestrial worlds, celestial phenomena, and imaginative interpretations of the universe.
We welcome traditional, contemporary, conceptual, abstract, photographic, digital, and mixed-media approaches.

EXHIBITION THEME
Intergalactic Spaces explores the visual and conceptual possibilities of outer space and worlds beyond Earth.
Possible subjects include, but are not limited to:
- Galaxies and nebulae
- Planets and moons
- Stars and constellations
- Black holes and celestial phenomena
- Cosmic landscapes
- Space exploration and travel
- Astronauts and spacecraft
- Extraterrestrial environments
- Imagined planets and civilizations
- Science fiction-inspired environments
- Abstract interpretations of space
- The relationship between humanity and the cosmos
- Otherworldly and surreal interpretations of the universe
Artists are encouraged to move beyond literal representations and present their own creative interpretation of Intergalactic Spaces.

AWARDS & ARTIST RECOGNITION
1st Place — Featured Artist Award
The 1st Place artist will receive:
- A 2D/3D Solo Exhibition with CEV Art Gallery
- A curated digital exhibition catalog
- An artist interview with CEV Art Gallery
- Dedicated social media and email campaign promotion
- Featured homepage listing on the CEV Art Gallery website
- Official 1st Place award/promotion graphic

2nd Place — Featured Artist Award
The 2nd Place artist will receive:
- An artist interview with CEV Art Gallery
- Artwork display through CEV Art Gallery
- Dedicated social media and email campaign promotion
- Official 2nd Place award/promotion graphic

Finalists
All remaining selected artists will be recognized as Finalists and will receive:
- Inclusion in the virtual exhibition
- Social media promotion
- Email campaign promotion
- Official Finalist award/promotion graphic

All Participating Artists
All artists who submit to Intergalactic Spaces will receive a promotional/participation graphic recognizing their participation.

JURIED SELECTION PROCESS
Submissions will be reviewed by a selected CEV Art Gallery jury.
Jurors will evaluate each artist's entry using five simple categories:
- Theme Alignment
- Originality
- Creativity
- Artistic Execution
- Exhibition Impact

All juror decisions are final.
Individual juror scores, rankings, critiques, and feedback will not be provided.

NOTIFICATION & PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT
Selected artists and award recipients will receive private notification one day before the public exhibition announcement.
This early notification allows selected artists to preview their recognition before the public announcement.
The exhibition and selected artists will be publicly announced on the official exhibition opening date.

ELIGIBLE MEDIA
Intergalactic Spaces is open to artists working in a variety of two-dimensional, three-dimensional, photographic, digital, and mixed-media disciplines.
Accepted media may include:
- Painting
- Drawing
- Photography
- Digital art
- Printmaking
- Collage
- Mixed media
- Fiber/textile art
- Sculpture
- Ceramics
- Glass
- Metal
- Wood
- Paper art
- Installation
- Conceptual artwork suitable for virtual presentation
All submitted artwork must meaningfully relate to the Intergalactic Spaces theme.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Artists may submit artwork according to the submission options provided through Entrythingy.
Artwork Description
Each submitted artwork must include a brief description of no more than two sentences.
Artist Bio or Artist Statement
Artists may provide either a short artist bio or artist statement of no more than 100 words.
Please do not exceed the 100-word limit.
Artwork Image
Submitted artwork images must be:
- Clear and properly oriented
- High quality
- Representative of the actual artwork
- Suitable for online exhibition and promotional use
Please ensure that all artist information, artwork titles, medium, dimensions, descriptions, and other requested information are accurate before completing your submission.

CONTENT & SUBMISSION POLICY
CEV Art Gallery is committed to maintaining a professional, inclusive, and gallery-appropriate exhibition environment.
The following content is not permitted and will result in automatic disqualification without refund:
- AI-generated artwork or artwork created primarily through generative artificial intelligence
- Nudity or sexually explicit content
- Sadistic, excessively violent, or graphic content
- Vulgar, offensive, or obscene content
- Content that is otherwise deemed inappropriate for a professional gallery environment
Artwork that does not meet the Intergalactic Spaces theme requirements may also be excluded from consideration.
CEV Art Gallery reserves the right to determine whether submitted artwork complies with the exhibition's content and theme standards.
No refunds will be issued for submissions that are disqualified for violating the Content & Submission Policy or exhibition requirements.

ARTWORK RIGHTS & OWNERSHIP
Artists retain full ownership and copyright of their artwork.
CEV Art Gallery does not purchase, acquire, or claim ownership of submitted artwork.
By submitting artwork, artists grant CEV Art Gallery a non-exclusive, limited permission to display, reproduce, and promote the submitted artwork for purposes directly related to the exhibition and CEV Art Gallery's promotional activities.
This permission may include:
- Displaying artwork in the CEV Art Gallery 2D online portfolio
- Displaying artwork in the CEV Art Gallery virtual 3D exhibition
- Including artwork in the exhibition catalog
- Featuring artwork on the CEV Art Gallery website
- Using artwork images in social media campaigns
- Using artwork images in email marketing
- Creating promotional materials related to the exhibition
- Promoting the artist and exhibition through CEV Art Gallery marketing channels
CEV Art Gallery does not acquire ownership, copyright, or exclusive rights to submitted artwork.
Artists remain free to sell, license, display, reproduce, or otherwise use their artwork independently, subject to any separate agreements they may have with third parties.

EXHIBITION FORMAT
Intergalactic Spaces will be presented as a virtual exhibition through CEV Art Gallery.
Selected artwork may be displayed through:
- CEV Art Gallery's 2D online portfolio
- CEV Art Gallery's virtual 3D exhibition
- Digital exhibition catalog
- CEV Art Gallery website
- Social media
- Email marketing campaigns
The 3D exhibition is a temporary virtual exhibition experience.
Artwork selected for the CEV Art Gallery 2D online portfolio may remain available indefinitely as part of the gallery's ongoing digital exhibition archive.

ELIGIBILITY
Open to artists working in a variety of mediums and artistic disciplines.
Artists may submit original artwork that appropriately reflects the Intergalactic Spaces theme.
Artists must submit only artwork that they have the legal right to display and promote.

ENTRY FEES
Standard Entry — $27
Submit up to 4 artworks.
Extended Entry — $3 per artwork up to 5 to 10 works

Submitting additional artwork does not guarantee acceptance. Artists are encouraged to submit their strongest work that aligns with the exhibition theme.

HOW ENTRY FEES SUPPORT THE EXHIBITION
Entry fees help cover the costs of producing, judging, promoting, and administering the exhibition.

Fees support:
Entry fees support the professional production and promotion of the exhibition and do not guarantee acceptance or selection.

NO REFUNDS
All entry fees are non-refundable.
Once a submission has been completed, the entry fee will not be refunded due to:
- Withdrawal of a submission
- Failure to be selected
- Failure to receive an award
- Change of circumstances
- Duplicate submission
- Failure to meet eligibility requirements
- Violation of exhibition guidelines
- Violation of the Content & Submission Policy
- Artwork not meeting the exhibition theme
- Any other reason

Submission to the exhibition does not guarantee acceptance or selection.
Please carefully review the Intergalactic Spaces theme and ensure that your submitted artwork aligns with the stated theme and eligibility requirements.
Artwork that does not meet the exhibition criteria may not be selected.

AGREEMENT TO TERMS
By submitting artwork to Intergalactic Spaces, the artist confirms that:
1. The submitted artwork is their own original work or that they possess the legal rights necessary to submit it.
2. They have the authority to grant CEV Art Gallery the limited promotional and exhibition rights described in these terms.
3. They understand that submission does not guarantee selection.
4. They understand that juror decisions are final.
5. They understand that individual juror scores, rankings, critiques, and feedback will not be provided.
6. They understand that all entry fees are non-refundable.
7. They understand and agree to CEV Art Gallery's Content & Submission Policy.
8. They retain ownership and copyright of their artwork.
9. They grant CEV Art Gallery the non-exclusive permission necessary to exhibit and promote their submitted artwork as described above.
10. They understand that selected artwork may remain in CEV Art Gallery's ongoing 2D digital exhibition archive.
11. They agree to the exhibition, promotional, notification, and participation terms outlined in this Call for Artists.
