A Juried Virtual Art Exhibition

CEV Art Gallery invites artists to submit original artwork for Geometric, a juried virtual art exhibition exploring the visual language of shapes, symmetry, and repeating patterns.

Geometric art uses precise forms such as circles, squares, triangles, lines, angles, grids, and other geometric structures to create organized, balanced, and often non-representational visual designs.
Artists are encouraged to explore the relationship between form, structure, color, space, rhythm, and repetition, creating artwork that communicates order, balance, movement, or visual harmony.

CORE CHARACTERISTICS
Focus on Form
Geometric art strips away or minimizes realistic subject matter to emphasize lines, angles, shapes, colors, proportions, and spatial relationships.
Mathematical Foundation
Artists may incorporate symmetry, grids, tessellations, repetition, proportion, and structured patterns to create visually organized compositions.
Order & Rhythm
Geometric artwork can communicate a sense of order, rhythm, balance, precision, and visual harmony through the deliberate arrangement of shapes and patterns.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We welcome both strictly abstract geometric artwork and representational work in which geometry plays a significant visual role.
Artists are encouraged to consider how shapes, symmetry, repetition, color, scale, and spatial relationships can transform a composition into something visually compelling.
The strongest submissions should demonstrate a clear and intentional use of geometric principles rather than simply containing incidental shapes or patterns.

ENTRY FEES
Entry fees help cover the costs of producing, judging, promoting, and administering the exhibition, including jury honorariums, submission processing, graphic design, digital catalog production, virtual gallery production, promotional materials, marketing, and gallery administration.
Entry fees support the professional production and promotion of the exhibition and do not guarantee acceptance or selection.

NO REFUNDS
All entry fees are non-refundable.
No refunds will be issued due to withdrawal, non-selection, change of circumstances, duplicate submissions, failure to meet eligibility requirements, theme mismatch, content violations, or any other reason.

NOTIFICATION
Selected artists, including 1st Place, 2nd Place, and Finalists, will be privately notified one day before the public exhibition announcement.
This provides selected artists with an early preview of their acceptance before the exhibition is publicly announced.

ARTIST RIGHTS & ARTWORK USAGE
Artists retain full ownership and copyright of their artwork.
By submitting artwork, artists grant CEV Art Gallery a non-exclusive, limited permission to display, reproduce, and promote the submitted artwork solely in connection with the exhibition and related promotional activities.

This may include:
- CEV Art Gallery's 2D online portfolio
- 3D virtual gallery
- Digital exhibition catalog
- CEV Art Gallery website
- Social media
- Email marketing
- Promotional and award materials

The 2D online portfolio may remain available as part of CEV Art Gallery's permanent exhibition archive. The 3D virtual gallery is temporary and will be removed following the scheduled exhibition period.

Artists retain the right to sell, license, display, and otherwise use their artwork independently, subject to any separate agreements they may have with third parties.

By submitting, artists confirm that they own or otherwise possess the necessary rights to the artwork and its submitted images.
