The Pacific Grove Art Center is a wonderfully unique, community-based nonprofit art venue. Established in 1969, early aims sought to offer space for art-making and art appreciation. The founders worked hard to create a usable art space for 17 art studios, a classroom, and four gallery venues. They passionately labored to develop an environment with superb cultural offerings. Today we continue that rich tradition. In fact, the Pacific Grove Art Center's purpose is to cultivate the arts within the Monterey area by providing creative experiences that inspire and engage us, touch our hearts, challenge our minds and enrich our lives.
The Pacific Grove Art Center is currently accepting artists submissions for our 2021 exhibition calendar year. All media are accepted. The deadline to submit and be considered by our selection committee is May 31, 2020. Please carefully read the requirements; only complete submissions will be reviewed.
GROUP SHOWS are eligible but must have a curator who uploads 6 representative jpegs from the group, a group logo if available plus a group statement. Also, all participants in a group show are required to have a current membership with the PG Art Center.
