During the month of February the Drawing Room is hosting a series 'Happenings', exhibitions and related events that focus on the process of art-making and drawing. In this call, the focus is on LINE and how it informs artist's work and the impetus to create, follow and develop the course of a line.
Drawing is the development of mark-making and lines are typically a focal point or key ingredient in that development. In this call for art, the search for works that explore and push the boundaries of the line will be accepted.
Please submit works that fit within a 20'x20' square. Works can be 2d, 3d or relief, and must be ready to hang. Accepted works that exceed this size will not be accepted.
This show is part of the 'Happenings' series at the Drawing Room and will be open the public February 16-17th only. Works will remain on the Drawing Room website for 2 weeks following the show and must be available for purchase.
