The Loft Artist Association is pleased to announce a call for entries for our Fall Juried Exhibition, Close to Home, juried by, Anna Patalano. This is a juried exhibition with cash prizes. All entries will be submitted and reviewed via Entry Thingy. The Show dates are Saturday, November 7– Sunday, December 20, 2026. Deadlines include October 19 for entries, October 26 for artist notifications, and November 1 and 2 for artwork delivery. An Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony will be held on Saturday, November 7, from 4-6 PM. All artists are invited to submit. For entry information and prospectus please visit our website.
Close to Home
"Home" can be a place, a person, a memory, a community, or simply a feeling. Artists are invited to consider what feels familiar, intimate, personal, or deeply known—and what happens when we look at it again. Variations in size and shape are encouraged, as well as applications in two- and three-dimensional formats. The goal of this exhibition is to be a celebration of the concept of “home” and what it can mean within the context of an artist’s experience.
Anna Patalano
Anna Patallano painter, curator, educator, and arts leader whose career has centered on helping artists develop meaningful, authentic creative practices while maintaining an active studio practice of her own. She currently serves as Managing Director of the Greenwich Art Society, where she oversees programming, exhibition initiatives, and artist development, while also teaching painting and mentoring artists at every stage of their careers. Her perspective as a juror is shaped by decades of looking closely at artwork—as a practicing artist, curator, educator, and advocate for the visual arts.
