Hull Artists' Open Juried Photography Show will run from Friday, October 9, through Wednesday, November 18, at the Nantasket Beach Resort. This hotel is beautifully situated across the street from Nantasket Beach, a tourist and business destination, with excellent exposure for the show's exhibition.

This exhibit is non-themed and open to photographers of all ages. This is an Open Call for Art, and membership in Hull Artists Association is NOT required for entry. However, Hull Artists (HA) members receive discounted entry fees and commission rates. Membership details can be found at [HullArtists.com/Join] (https://www.hullartists.com/join).

• Membership is valid if it expires on November 18, 2026, or later. (Email: [email protected] for inquiries.)
Every piece displayed in the exhibition must be original and derived from the artist’s own photograph. Artists may use programs such as Photoshop and Lightroom to enhance images. However, AI-generated images, stock images, or clip art are not allowed, in part or in full.

The juror will determine accepted pieces and awards (Juror TBA). Submission of artwork does not guarantee acceptance into this show.

Categories
• Black-and-White Photography includes all forms of photography containing tones of neutral grey ranging from black to white. This category also includes other monochromatic hues, such as sepia, cyan, and brown.
• Color Photography includes photos with a spectrum of colors.

• Artists may enter up to six pieces for consideration by the juror; however, no more than two pieces per artist can be accepted by the juror.
• Include: Medium as Color or Black & White photography.
• Indicate whether it’s printed on paper, canvas, metal, or other.
• Include Dimensions (to the nearest inch) of the finished piece as it will be hung. Maximum artwork size is 41 inches on the longest side, including frame.
• Include Price: Artwork must be for sale, and the price must be entered before checkout. Do not check the "not for sale" box.
• Entries cannot be substituted or withdrawn after acceptance.
• Given the venue setting, all work must be PG and family-friendly.
• Accepted work must be hand-delivered. Hull Artists cannot receive or accept any shipped art.
• A list of the accepted art will be emailed & also posted at https://hullartists/PhotoShow by the end of the day on September 16, 2026.

ENTRY FEE AND COMMISSION

HA Members: The entry fee is $10 plus $10 per piece entered (i.e., 1 piece for $20, 2 for $30, 3 for $40, 4 for $50, 5 for $60, 6 for $70). Commission on sold artwork: Members: 70% to the artist, 30% to HA.

Non-Members: The entry fee is $15 plus $10 per piece entered (i.e., 1 piece for $25, 2 for $35, 3 for $45, 4 for $55, 5 for $65, or 6 for $75. Commission on sold artwork: Non-Members: 60% to the artist, 40% to HA.

HOW TO ENTER

1. Submit only one image per piece.

2. Your submitted image(s) should be of your artwork ONLY. (DO NOT include the mat and frame.)
-Image file size should be between 500 KB and 50 MB.
-The shortest side should be at least 900 pixels. Most cell phone photos will meet this requirement.
-File formats allowed: JPG/JPEG, PNG.

3. After uploading each image, you will be asked to complete details for the image. For dimensions, provide the work's size WITH the frame.

4. All Artwork must be for sale, and the price must be entered before checkout. Do not check the "not for sale" box.

5. Before final checkout, you will be asked to select your membership status. Please select either HA Member or Non-Member from the dropdown menu. After checking the box, proceed to payment.
