The Art of us 2026 Exhibit is an artistic collaboration between the Shotgun House History and area artists and is hosted by the Williamson County Art Guild (WCAG) and the Georgetown Cultural Citizen Memorial Association (GCCMA). This is a juried exhibit for African American artists of Williamson County of up to 50 pieces of 2-dimensional art which depict any element of the theme 'African American Creativity.'
The exhibit will be held at the Williamson County Art Guild Gallery at 708 S Rock St. in Georgetown for the month of September 2026. A special reception will take place Friday, September 4, 5-7pm as an opening for this exhibit. A companion event will take place at The Shotgun House that evening. Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded. There is no fee associated with your submission to this exhibit.
The Williamson County Art Guild is dedicated to giving voice to visual artists in the community through exhibit opportunities, education, and community outreach. This event is made possible through a collaboration with GCCMA and Georgetown Arts and Culture. Feel free to invite family, friends and colleagues to this inspiring exhibit.
