APPLICATION FOR OAA ARTIST MEMBERSHIP
The Ogunquit Art Association, established in 1928 as an organization of professional artists, is accepting applications for membership in the categories of painting, graphics, sculpture, photography, and mixed media. The OAA is a cooperative group and relies on the active participation of its’ members.
Applicants who are painters, graphic artists, photographers, or mixed media artists shall be residents of the State of Maine or shall reside within one hundred (100) miles of Ogunquit no fewer than fourteen days a year, one year’s exception being permitted.
Members who are sculptors may reside in any one of the New England states or spend no less than fourteen days a year within 100 miles of Ogunquit. Infringement of this residential qualification will mean a loss of membership, which can only be restored by re-application.
All members may exhibit work only in the category in which they have been accepted.
Application in another category can be accomplished by cross-jurying at a later date.
Jurying and Membership are under the jurisdiction of the OAA Board of Directors. A panel of five jurors, elected by the OAA membership, will review applicants’ digital images and make recommendations for OAA membership.
