EXHIBIT DATES AND INFORMATION. THIS IS YOUR CONTRACT FOR YOUR SOLO SHOW.
Submitting and paying for an entry of your artwork constitutes your agreement to a contract with BAA based on the following:
Anjanette Butler (ARTIST) agrees to exhibit their work on the designated hanging grid, approximately 6 linear feet of space, at SpiceTopia and may place a bin in front of the grid, for the dates: Thurs., April 16 thru June 11, 2026, approximately 8 weeks.
ARTIST agrees to pay $100 for use of the above wall/display space and understands work cannot be exhibited in any other space in the shop without prior agreement. Payment to BAA must be received prior to installing the exhibit and membership in BAA must be current. Payment should be made with submission of this entry.
ARTIST will be responsible for installing and taking down their exhibits within the time frames outlined below unless otherwise authorized. Artist will recruit their own hanging assistance if needed. BAA will supply all hanging equipment and labels.
ARTIST agrees to upload all artwork information, i.e. images, titles and prices, etc., into EntryThingy at least one week before the show date so that labels can be generated in time for installation. Sharon will open an Entrythingy portal for your show. Labels will be printed and delivered to SpiceTopia on Thursday, April 16 or as arranged, to be installed by artist when the display is put up.
The artist’s work will be sold only through SpiceTopia during the run of the show. Commissions for sold work are: artist: 70%, BAA: 20%, SpiceTopia: 10%. Commission checks are issued by the 15th of the month after the sale. BAA will display the show on its website but no sales can be made through the website. All sales inquiries will be referred to SpiceTopia.
ARTIST agrees to send Exec. Dir. a short description or the title of the display and information about the artist that can be used by BAA for our website, social media release, Facebook, Instagram etc. E.D. must receive this at least 7 days before the exhibit is installed.
ARTIST must coordinate with the artist who is taking down their work from the previous show and with the artist who will be installing their work for the following show, so that that they are not in each other’s way. This changeover should take place during the time and date when the BAA members show is also being changed so as to minimize disruption to SpiceTopia.
All work must be for sale. All work must be suitable for viewing by the general public including children. Nude or sexually suggestive work may not be part of the exhibit.
OPTIONAL: ARTIST can schedule a mini-reception for their own guests and/or the public at their own expense in consultation and agreement with the store owner.
Signs with ARTIST’S name or show title are at ARTIST's discretion and expense and are only to be placed on the grid.
Submission of your entry constitutes your agreement to this BAA contract. Please print this out if you wish to keep a copy.
