This show is open to Buenaventura Art Association members only. If you are not a member, any fees you have paid will not be refunded.
THIS IS A THEMED AND JURIED MEMBER SHOW: "Another Perspective" - Submit works that step outside your habitual ways of seeing and experiencing the world. Did you try a different medium to depict a favorite subject? Did you try a birds-eye view of a scene or an extreme close-up? Maybe you viewed a scene from the perspective of a child. Maybe you indulged in a little representational abstraction. When did you look at something from "another perspective?"
JUROR: TBA
Juried for acceptance and/or merit awards. Up to three awards for merit given! All merit award winners invited to a free group show at the end of the year.
DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES:
Tuesday, March 3, 2026, midnight
NOTE: Art Center deadlines will now be on Tuesdays in 2026, NOT Fridays.
NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE:
Thursday, March 5, 2026, end of day
RULES:
1. You may enter and upload up to three pieces of any medium under the theme of 'Another Perspective.'
2. Size restrictions apply: pieces accepted up to, but no larger than 432 square inches, (18 x 24, for example) including frame.
3. Works that have already been exhibited at ANY of our locations within one year of the deadline are ineligible.
4. 2D pieces must be wired for hanging.
5. Pedestal or counter space provided for 3D.
ENTRY FEES:
$25 for 1 to 3 pieces, plus $3 processing fee = $28 total for any entry.

Tuesday, March 10, 1PM - 3PM ONLY
