The 4th annual Route 19a Juried Fine Art Exhibit is a live two day event to celebrate and promote Vancouver Island fine artists. It will be held at the Lighthouse Hall in Qualicum Bay. There are 23 spaces only. All entries will be juried based on skill, technique and originality, after which the jurors choices will be curated to allow a variety of styles and mediums throughout the event. Art must be created by the artist's hand and not from a kit or AI technology. Artist websites will be part of the juror's decision so all entries should have a working website URL. Artists must be located on Vancouver Island or the surrounding Canadian Islands only.
The booths will be 10' x 10' and will include a full length black curtain 'pipe & drape' back-drop and professional lighting. Tables (6'& 8') and chairs available on request.
$20 application fee
Accepted artists will:
*Pay the exhibition fee of $200 within seven days after acceptance to reserve booth space otherwise it will go to the next on the waiting list.
*Need to supply, set up and take down all materials necessary to display
their work according to the allotted times specified.
*Be required to be present (or have a representative) with their booth for the full exhibition dates & times.
*Must have their own hanging/display system. (grid walls easels, tables) The pipe and drape cannot be used to hang art.
*Must be set up and ready to go by 9:00 am on September 12th.
