The Annual Juried Members' Exhibition returns for its 79th year in 2025 at the Springfield Museum of Art. Celebrating our community and region's creative spirit, this annual exhibition highlights a wide range of media, subject matter, and skillsets, and participation is open to all members of the Museum.
CALL FOR ENTRY IS OPEN:
May 15-June 15, 2025
FINAL DEADLINE:
Sunday, June 15th by 11:59pm

There will be very limited museum support available to assist or answer questions on the final weekend of the call for entry.
ENTRANTS are welcome to submit up to two PIECES as part of their ENTRY into the 79th Juried Members' Exhibition and are guaranteed to have one piece accepted. Entrants submitting one piece will automatically have that work juried into the exhibition. For artists submitting two pieces, the juror will select either one or both based on space and quality of the work. The juror will select first, second, and third places, as well as three honorable mentions.
Entrants must be current members of the Springfield Museum of Art in Springfield, OH.

May 15: Call for Entry Opens!
June 15: Submissions END at 11:59 PM.
June 30: Entrants notified of pieces accepted for exhibition.
July 25 (2-6pm) & July 26 (10am-4pm): Drop-off for Accepted Artwork
Aug 15: Opening Reception, 6-7:30pm
Dec 28: Exhibition closes
Jan 14-16(10-5pm) & Jan 17 (10am-4pm): Artwork pick-up
GENERAL GUIDELINES AND REQUIREMENTS
- Artists/Entrants must be current members of the Springfield Museum of Art.
- Each entrant must be a named adult member (with own card); 18 years of age or older.
- Up to two pieces of artwork may be included in each entrant's entry using the guidelines below. The juror will select either one or both pieces to be accepted. If only one piece is submitted, that work will be guaranteed acceptance.
- Pieces must have been created in the last three years and not previously exhibited at the Museum.
- All pieces must be display ready.
- 2-D artworks must not exceed 50 lbs. Wall pieces must not exceed 4 ft wide or 5 ft in height. (Rare exceptions may be considered depending upon number of members participating). Wall pieces must be framed and have a hanging wire securely installed (saw tooth hangers not permitted). Rubber bumpers on the back of framed pieces preferred.
- 3-D artworks must not exceed 100 lbs and must fit on a pedestal with a footprint of 24 x 24 inches or less.
- All pieces must be delivered in person to the Museum during one of the specified accepted artwork drop-off times.
Mailed/shipped pieces cannot be accepted due to staff capacity/storage capacity. SMoA is not responsible for any shipping or handling. SMoA cannot be responsible for storage of packaging materials or for shipping/packing labor due to limited staffing capacity.
- Accepted work must remain on display through the end of the exhibition.
- Artwork can be available for sale, and 30% of the sale price will be retained by the Museum if the work is sold. Artists are welcome to list their work as not for sale (NFS); however, ALL ARTISTS MUST INCLUDE A VALUE FOR INSURANCE PURPOSES.
- If you intend to sell your work, you will be required to complete a W9 at artwork drop-off day to be kept on file with the Springfield Museum of Art until the exhibition closes.
The Springfield Museum of Art reserves the right to reject any accepted artwork that does not meet the guidelines for the Juried Members' Exhibition outlined here and below, is deemed unsafe, differs from the artist's photo(s) and/or description, or for any other reason.
