About This Call
The 2016 Yountville Art, Sip, and Stroll event anticipates more than 5,000 visitors interested in fine art and high-end, three-dimensional craft. The event welcomes painters working in oils, acrylics, watercolors, and pastels, as well as artists working in ceramic, art glass, metal, bronze, photography, sculpture, jewelry, and mixed media. Art, Sip & Stroll takes place Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 11AM-5PM, with artist setup beginning at 8AM on Saturday or Friday evening (overnight security will not be provided). All booth spaces are located along Washington Street in Yountville. Booths may be placed on hard or paved surfaces, grass, or gravel. Electricity may not be available in some locations.
The booth fee is $150 per artist and includes a 10' x 10' tent, one six-foot table, and two chairs. Artists are responsible for their own sales and receive 100% of their proceeds. Yountville Arts does not take a commission on sold works. Artists are encouraged to demonstrate their talents by painting, drawing, or sculpting live for visitors. Yountville is located in the heart of Napa Valley and will feature local wineries and tasting rooms pouring artisan wines throughout the event.
Applications are accepted through February 16, 2016. Applicants may submit 2 applications and must provide a minimum of 3 images and a maximum of 10 images, with an optional video (maximum 1). Eligibility is regional, limited to California artists. The jury includes Ronda Schaer (Art Consultant, Curator, Broker, and Board of Trustees for Napa Valley Museum), Kristie Sheppard (former Executive Director of Napa Valley Museum), Cynthia Carey (Artist, Curator at Jessup Cellars Gallery), Jessica Penman (Yountville Arts Commissioner, Napa Valley Museum), and Karen Johnston (Gallery Director AErena Galleries).
