About This Call
The Young Curators of the Roaring Fork are seeking artworks in any medium made by high school students in the community. Eligible artists must be high school students living in Pitkin, Eagle, or Garfield counties in Colorado.
Submissions are due February 14, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Work samples may include up to 2 images, 2 audio files, and/or 2 video files, with a minimum of 1 and maximum of 2 total samples. No late submissions will be accepted. The Aspen Art Museum reserves the right to refuse artwork submissions.
The exhibition opens April 18, 2020 and runs through May 3, 2020. The Young Curators of the Roaring Fork internship is a six-month program in which interns work with the museum's Education and Curatorial staff and visiting lecturers to build aesthetic valuation, leadership, organizational, and critical-thinking skills. The internship culminates in this museum exhibition of artworks created by their peers.
