Yellowstone Art Auction 58

Yellowstone Art Auction 58 is a juried exhibition open to all original 2-D and 3-D media except jewelry. The exhibition runs February 6 - March 7, 2026, at the Yellowstone Art Museum in Billings, Montana. Reproductions, including giclée and mechanical prints on canvas, are not eligible. A maximum of two artworks may be submitted per artist. Submitted work must be created within the last five years and cannot have been submitted to past Art Auctions.

Entry fee is $35.00, though applications submitted before September 1, 2025, are free with coupon code YAM58. The submission deadline is November 2, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. MST. Jury selection occurs November 10-21, 2025, with artists notified of results on November 25, 2025. Accepted artwork must be delivered to the museum by December 17, 2025. All 2-D works must be framed and ready to hang; 3-D pieces must have proper supports and installation instructions.

Invited artists receive inclusion in the silent auction exhibition in the museum's main galleries, a special invitation to the opening reception (February 6, 2026) and live auction gala (March 7, 2026), one copy of the full-color catalog, and inclusion in the online catalog. The museum provides widespread regional advertising and promotion. Artists donate a predetermined percentage (minimum 50%) of sale proceeds to the Yellowstone Art Museum. Bidding starts at no less than 70% of the artist's declared retail value. Unsold works are returned to artists at the museum's expense via FedEx following the auction.
