Yadkin Arts Council 2025 Juried Exhibition

The Yadkin Arts Council, located at the Yadkin Cultural Arts Center at 226 East Main Street in Yadkinville, NC, is pleased to announce the 2025 Juried Art Exhibition. This exhibition will be featured in the Welborn Gallery and Red Wall Gallery and celebrates creativity in North Carolina. Eligibility is open to 2D and 3D Fine Art artists who are a minimum of 18 years of age and reside in North Carolina.

Artists may submit up to two completely original works of art for consideration. If chosen to exhibit, only one submitted piece will be selected. Only original works produced within the past three years will be accepted in the following mediums: painting, pastel, drawing, sculpture, ceramic, glass, photography, fiber arts, original hand-pulled prints, jewelry, weaving, basketry, marquetry, wood, mixed media, and digital. Artificial Intelligence (AI) art is not allowed. Submitted art must not have been shown previously at the Yadkin Cultural Arts Center. Two-Dimensional pieces should not exceed 40 inches in width or 60 inches in height (including frame) and must weigh no more than 40lbs. Wall hanging pieces must not exceed 40 inches in width (including frames) and must be professionally framed or gallery wrapped with secure wiring. Three-Dimensional work must sit solidly on a flat surface or be properly mounted for hanging. Any 3D pieces requiring a pedestal must fit on a base no bigger than 24 inches by 15 inches. Freestanding pieces must not exceed 40 inches in width or 24 inches in depth.

The entry fee is $40 (non-refundable) and covers the option to submit up to two pieces. The deadline for entry is June 8, 2025 at 11:59pm MDT. Jury process occurs June 9-12, 2025, with acceptance/rejection announcements via email by end of day June 13, 2025. Delivery of accepted artwork is June 23-26, 2025 by appointment (9:30am-4pm). The opening reception and awards ceremony is July 11, 2025 (5-7pm), with exhibit dates July 12-August 29, 2025. Pickup of unsold artwork is September 2, 2025. There will be $3,500 in combined prizes: First Place $1,250, Second Place $850, Third Place $500, People's Choice $200, People's Choice Runner-Up $100, and six Honorable Mentions at $100 each. All entries must be for sale with 75% of the sale price going to the artist and 25% commission retained by the Yadkin Arts Council.
