XMAS Exhibition 2021

Exhibizone invites visual artists working in any medium from anywhere in the world to submit applications for the XMAS 2021 exhibition. Artists are encouraged to submit work displaying various aspects of Christmas, including Christmas traditions, street festivals, decorations, gift exchange, family gatherings, and conceptual subjects such as forgiveness, generosity, and grace. Both abstract and representational interpretations are welcome.

Submission is US$10 per artwork, with artists able to submit up to 5 pieces. Maximum 2 artworks per artist will be selected for the online group exhibition running from December 27, 2021 to January 27, 2022. Accepted art categories include painting, drawing, illustration, printmaking, photography, digital art, sculpture, installation, fiber and textile arts, and mixed media. Artworks created within the last 5 years are preferred, though there is no creation year limit. There is no size limit for submitted artworks. Artists must own all rights to their work, and entries must not be copies or derivatives of other copyrighted works. Artworks including pornography, violence, racial or religious hatred, or offensive content are not admissible.

Selected artworks will be featured in an online international group exhibition and published in a stylish exhibition catalogue available online and through print-on-demand service. The artist with the highest public ranking during the exhibition will win a US$500 cash prize. All selected artists receive a digital certificate, online profile page on the Biafarin platform, digital exhibition poster, and artwork badges for social media sharing. Exhibition visitors can submit comments and ratings on artworks, with reports containing view counts, engagement rates, and sales statistics sent regularly to artists. Selected artworks may be considered for publication in an art magazine from Discover the Artist media group.
