WSNC Eastern Region Exhibition 2026

The 2026 WSNC Eastern Region Exhibition is open to all current WSNC members residing in the Eastern Region, including Associate, Signature, and Master Signature Members. Membership dues must be current at the time of entry. The exhibition will be presented both online and in person, with the in-person exhibition hosted by the Intracoastal Realty Gallery, 228 North Front Street, Wilmington, NC 28401, on view from April 20 through May 15, 2026. Public viewing hours are 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, seven days a week. Awards for the in-person exhibition will be judged by Wilmington artist Todd Carignan. All eligible entries will be included in the online gallery, where artwork will be available for public viewing and sale.

Artwork must be original creations completed after January 1, 2023, and not completed under instruction. Works must not be copied from or substantially based on another artist's or photographer's work, and must not include AI-generated or digitally produced imagery. Works previously exhibited in a WSNC Annual Juried Exhibition or any previous Regional Exhibition are not eligible. Acceptable media includes water-soluble media such as watercolor, gouache, water-based ink, casein, acrylic, egg tempera, and watercolor pencil, stick, or crayon. Other media may be used only in conjunction with water media, which must be visibly dominant. Collage, pastel, water-based oils, canvas, prints, reproductions, digital artwork, heavy impasto, texture gels, and excessive relief are not permitted. Artwork must be on natural or synthetic watercolor paper, watercolor board, Yupo, Aquabord, Claybord, or similar absorbent rigid supports that are framed. Maximum framed size is 28 inches on the longest side; minimum image size is 80 square inches. All accepted paintings must be professionally framed and ready to hang according to WSNC standards.

Entry deadline is March 8, 2026. Non-refundable entry fee is $30. Maximum of two entries per artist. Digital images must be submitted in JPEG format, under 5 MB, showing only the image without frame or mat, at least 1,200 pixels on the longest side. The venue can accommodate approximately 50 paintings. Every effort will be made to include at least one work by each participating artist. Regional exhibitions are not juried for acceptance; all entries meeting prospectus requirements will be exhibited as space allows. Awards include monetary prizes for First, Second, and Third Place in both Signature and Associate Member categories, plus an Artist's Choice Award voted on through the online gallery. Hand delivery of work is required April 17–18, 10:00 AM–4:00 PM. Pickup is May 16, 10:00 AM–2:00 PM. Artwork not picked up by the deadline will be placed in storage with a $50 storage fee. There is no commission for this exhibition; artists retain 100% of sale price. Sales are facilitated through ArtCall.org, with the artist responsible for all aspects of the sale.
