WSNC Central Region Exhibition 2026

The 2026 WSNC Central Region Exhibition is open to all current WSNC members residing in the Central Region, including Associate, Signature, and Master Signature Members. Membership dues must be current at the time of entry. The in-person exhibition will be hosted by the Griffith Fine Arts Museum at The Red Oak Brewery in Whitsett, NC, and will be on view from May 15 through June 16, 2026. All eligible entries will also be included in an online gallery for public viewing and sale. Awards for the in-person exhibition will be judged by WSNC artist Alexis Lavine.

Artwork must be original creations completed after January 1, 2023, and not completed under instruction or copied from another artist's work. AI-generated or digitally produced imagery is not permitted. Works previously exhibited in a WSNC Annual Juried Exhibition or any previous Regional Exhibition are not eligible. Acceptable media includes water-soluble media such as watercolor, gouache, water-based ink, casein, acrylic, egg tempera, and watercolor pencil, stick, or crayon, with water media visibly dominant. Collage, pastel, water-based oils, canvas, prints, reproductions, digital artwork, heavy impasto, texture gels, and excessive relief are not permitted. Artwork must be on natural or synthetic watercolor paper, watercolor board, Yupo, Aquabord, Claybord, or similar absorbent rigid supports and professionally framed. Maximum framed size is 44 inches in any direction; minimum image size is 80 square inches.

Entry deadline is March 8, 2026. Non-refundable entry fee is $30, with a maximum of two entries per artist. Digital images must be submitted in JPEG format under 5 MB, at least 1,200 pixels on the longest side. All artwork must be hand-delivered April 15-18 and picked up June 18-20. Regional exhibitions are not juried for acceptance; all entries meeting prospectus requirements will be exhibited as space allows. Monetary awards for First, Second, and Third Place will be given in both Signature and Associate Member categories. There is no commission; artists retain 100% of sale prices.
