About This Call
Wreck-oning is a national online juried exhibition presented by the Cade Art Gallery at Anne Arundel Community College. The exhibit will be presented on the Cade Gallery Instagram account @cadegalleryaacc on a rolling basis, with work posted daily Monday-Friday for 30 days starting in March 2021.
The exhibit explores how individuals and the nation have confronted complex issues brought on by recent shifts, from confronting human fragility to addressing racial injustice. The exhibition is open to all visual mediums. Juror Rai Arthur-Mensah is a Project Director with Local Projects who has managed exhibition design projects for cultural institutions including The Fashion For Good Museum in Amsterdam, The Legacy Museum in Montgomery, AL, and the Greenwood Rising Museum in Tulsa, OK.
Entry requirements: Submit 3 or more images of artworks and an artist statement for each work. Artwork may be in any media. Entry fee is $15.00. The entry deadline is February 19, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. MST. For more information, contact Teddy Johnson, Director, Cade Art Gallery, at [email protected].
