WORLD UNTAMED

WORLD UNTAMED presents artwork inspired by the natural beauty of the wild world uncontrolled by humans. The exhibition is open to all artists over the age of 18. Sculpture, painting, photography, printmaking, mixed media, all types of fine art crafts and fabric art are invited. Video and film are not accepted. The show will be presented as an online exhibition in the MSA Virtual Gallery, which will include the price and contact information of the artist. A video version showing all works will be produced and remain available to view after the show closes.

Submissions must be made digitally via the CaFE application by March 15, 2024 before 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time. Entry fees are $35 for three pieces (non-members) or $30 for three pieces (MSA members), with an additional $7 fee for each additional piece up to a total of ten. Digital images must be JPG or JPEG format, 1200 pixels or greater on the longest side, and under 5 MB. Notification of acceptance will be by email by March 23, 2024, and an online list of accepted artwork will be posted on the MSA website. No more than 2 works by an artist will be included in the final juried selection. Artwork previously juried into an MSA exhibition will not be accepted.

The exhibition runs from March 30 through May 30, 2024. A virtual ZOOM reception will be held on Friday, April 5 at 5 p.m. PST. The juror is Paul Kratter. Awards include First Prize: $500, Second Prize: $300, Third Prize: $100, and several non-monetary Honorable Mention awards at the juror's discretion.
