About This Call

O'Hanlon Center for the Arts is hosting an online juried exhibition for collaborative artists. The show runs July 25 - August 21, 2023, and is juried by Joe Brubaker, a sculptor, painter, and collaborative artist. A Zoom roundtable discussion celebrating the show will be held on Tuesday, July 25, at 4 pm Pacific time, open to all selected artists.

This exhibition calls for collaborative art created by at least 2 people, where no single person can claim more than 75% of the work. All media are welcome. Each artist team may submit up to 3 images of work for consideration. If showing multiple views of an installation or sculpture, they must be submitted as one composite image. Diptychs and triptychs are considered one piece and must be submitted as a single image. Work does not need to be for sale. A description of the collaborative process must be included with submissions.

Submission fee is $40 for non-members or $30 for O'Hanlon Members (coupon code OH30). Only one submission fee per collaborative team is required. A limited number of partial scholarships are available; contact [email protected] for information. New members can join at the Artist level for $140/year and receive a free submission. Submissions are accepted June 9 - July 17 by 11:00 pm Pacific Time. Artists will be notified of jury results by email by July 21 at 5 pm Pacific. This is a blind jury. Works previously shown at the O'Hanlon Gallery online are not eligible. The exhibition is open to all artists ages 16 and older worldwide. Contemporary, exploratory, and experimental entries are encouraged, as are group installations.
