Women's Works 2020 - 33rd Annual Show

Women's Works is a juried fine art exhibition celebrating women artists, presented annually by the Northwest Area Arts Council at the Old Court House Arts Center in Woodstock, IL. This year marks the 33rd Anniversary of the show. The exhibition will be judged by fine art photographer Helen Smith-Romer, whose work explores collaged color photography and surrealist portraiture.

Women artists 18 or older may submit original work completed in the last two years. Submissions are limited to 1-3 digital images. A maximum of two works per artist may be accepted. All work must be for sale with a 30% commission on sold pieces, and must be available for the entire exhibition run (March 5 - April 11, 2020). Work size is limited to 8 feet in any single dimension and 50 lbs. Previously accepted works in either Real People or Women's Works will not be accepted. Entry fee is $40 (with a $10 discount for current NAAC Members or Real People 2019 applicants). Cash prizes totaling more than $1,500 will be awarded, including a $250 Gallery Award. Deadline for submission is January 26, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Notifications will be emailed by February 2, 2020. Work must arrive at the gallery by February 22, 2020. The opening reception is Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 6-9 p.m. for artists and 7-9 p.m. for the general public.
