About This Call

The 29th Annual Women's Works exhibition takes place at the Old Court House Arts Center on the Historic Town Square in Woodstock, Illinois. The show runs from March 11 through April 30, 2016, with an opening reception on March 19 (6-7 p.m. for artists, 7-9 p.m. for general public). Women's Works has become a much anticipated area event with excellent media coverage and exposure. Concurrent with this show is the Eighteenth Annual Little Women's Works, featuring the artistic achievements of young women.

Women artists 18 or older may submit any original work completed in the last two years. All work must be for sale and available through the entire exhibition run. Work is limited to eight feet in any single dimension and 50 lbs. No previously accepted works in either Real People or Women's Works will be accepted. Collaborative works are permitted; contact the organizers to ensure all information is collected. Each artist may submit up to three digital images for jurying, with a maximum of two works per artist accepted to the show.

Entry fee is $25 plus $5 per image ($30 for one image, $35 for two, $40 for three). A $10 discount is available for current NAAC members and Real People 2015 applicants. The entry deadline is January 31, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time. Accepted work is subject to a 30% commission. Cash prizes totaling more than $1,500 will be awarded. Art will be insured while at the gallery to the limit of $4,000; artists are responsible for insuring work to and from the show. Unsold work not picked up by June 30, 2016 becomes the property of NAAC.
