Women's Works 2013

Women's Works 2013 is the 26th annual exhibition taking place at the Old Court House Arts Center on the Historic Town Square in Woodstock, Illinois. The exhibition runs from March 7 through April 28, 2013, with an opening reception on March 16 (6-7 p.m. for artists, 7-9 p.m. for general public). The show attracts over 500 people to the Gala Night Opening Reception and receives excellent media coverage. A concurrent exhibition, the Sixteenth Annual Little Women's Works, features the artistic achievements of young women.

Women artists 18 or older may submit original work completed between January 2011 and January 2013. Collaborative works require prior approval from NAAC. Previously submitted works will not be accepted. All work must be for sale and available for the entire exhibition duration. Work is limited to 8 feet in any single dimension and 50 lbs. Artists may submit up to 3 digital images (.jpg format only) of up to 3 works. Each work must be represented by one image only; no detail views or duplicates. A maximum of 2 works per artist may be accepted by the jury.

Entry fee is $35 for up to 2 images or $40 for 3 images ($10 discount available for current NAAC members, Real People 2012 applicants, and qualified students with coupon code). All entries must include artist name, artwork title, price (including 30% commission), materials list, up to 3 digital images, and an artist statement/bio/description (maximum 150 words). The liability limitation is $5,000 per piece. Entry deadline is January 19, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Jury notifications will be emailed the first or second week of February 2013. Cash prizes totaling more than $1,000 will be awarded. All work must arrive at the gallery by the last week of February 2013 for setup. Unsold work will be returned to artists during the first half of May.
