About This Call

O'Hanlon Center for the Arts invites submissions for the 14th annual Women Artists Making Their Mark, an online exhibition open to artists who identify as female, ages 16 and older. The exhibition runs from August 15 to October 15, 2022, with a Zoom Roundtable discussion on August 16 at 4pm Pacific Time.

Artists may submit up to 3 individual pieces of artwork in any media except video, including photography, fiber, sculpture, and digital work. Diptychs and triptychs are considered one piece and must be submitted as a single image. Works do not need to be for sale and do not need to reference or allude to women or women's issues. The submission fee is $40 for non-members and $30 for O'Hanlon Center members. New members can join at the Artist level for $140/year and receive a free submission. The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 11pm Pacific Time. Artists will be notified of results by email by 5pm Friday, August 12.

The exhibition will be juried by Donna Seager and Suzanne Gray of Seager Gray Gallery. O'Hanlon Center will promote selected artists through social media, print media, and email outreach, and will create a quality printable catalog. Works previously shown at O'Hanlon Gallery in-house or online are not eligible for consideration.
