Women Artists Making Their Mark - 12th Annual Women's Show

Women Artists Making Their Mark is the 12th annual women's show presented by O'Hanlon Center for the Arts. This online exhibition and roundtable is juried by Donna Seager and Suzanne Gray of Seager Gray Gallery. The show is devoted to women artists and committed to bringing more gender equity to the world of art. Artists around the globe who identify as female are encouraged to submit. The exhibition is dedicated in honor of pioneer women artists including Artemisia Gentileschi, Adélaïde Labille-Guiard, Harriet Powers, Augusta Savage, Lee Krasner, Louise Bourgeois, and Yayoi Kusama.

Eligibility is open to all artists age 16 and over who identify as female. Works previously shown at O'Hanlon Gallery in house or online are not eligible. Artists may submit up to 3 pieces of artwork for consideration. The entry fee is $40 ($30 for OHCA members with coupon code). New first-time members of O'Hanlon Center for the Arts may join for $95/year for a free submission. Images should be named as FirstName_LastName_Title.

The submission deadline is Friday, August 28 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Chosen artwork will be announced by email on Friday, September 4 at 5 p.m., with invites sent for the online Roundtable Discussion. The exhibition will be displayed on the O'Hanlon Center for the Arts website beginning Monday, September 7, with an online roundtable discussion hosted on Tuesday, September 8 for artists to share and expand on their work. For artwork sales within the first 60 days of exhibition, artists agree to donate 30% of the sale price to OHCA. By submitting work, artists agree that photographic images and/or video of the artist and/or their artwork may be used by OHCA in various forms including print, online, and social media.
