WITHIN

Art Fluent invites artists worldwide to submit artwork to the online exhibition WITHIN. The theme explores the moments of retreat and the profound shifts in how we experience security, intimacy, sanctuary, and the passage of time. Artists are invited to show their perspective on beauty in ordinary and intimate spaces—WITHIN the quiet, WITHIN the asylum, WITHIN the retreat.

JPEGs are due by Friday, April 22, 2022, with notification of acceptance and online gallery opening by Friday, May 20, 2022. Entry fee is $25 for the first entry and $10 for each additional entry, with a maximum of 20 total entries. Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance. For 3D work, additional detail shots do not require additional fees; send them by email to [email protected] after the first entry is made. All accepted pieces will be displayed in the online gallery at www.art-fluent.com.

Awards include Best of Show ($750) and two Director's Choice awards ($250 each). The exhibition is curated and juried by Creative Director Amy Matteson Neill along with an anonymous committee of jurors. This call is open to artists worldwide, both amateur and professional. Work must be original and not copied or done under instructor guidance. All fine art mediums are eligible (oil, acrylic, watermedia, pastel, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, digital art) except film/video. Work previously selected for Art Fluent exhibits is not eligible. All sales inquiries are directed to the artist's website, and artists receive 100% of sales. A portion of entry fee proceeds is donated to organizations supporting the arts and artists.
