Winter Small Works

This exhibition is open to women artists ages 18 and up who are US citizens or permanent residents. Maximum size for 2-D wall works and wall hanging sculpture including frame is 15" x 15" x 5". All works must be original (no reproductions or giclee prints) and must be available for the duration of the exhibition. Graphic violence and lewd sexual content are prohibited; nudes are acceptable at the committee's discretion.

Entry fees are $35 for 2 entries, $40 for 3 entries, $45 for 2 entries with 2 views allowed for sculpture, or $50 for 3 entries. Awards include NAWA First Place ($150), Second Place ($125), Third Place ($100), and 2 Honorable Mentions. NAWA receives a 30% commission on all sales, with the artist receiving 70%. In the event of a sale, NAWA handles the initial payment and the artist ships the work to the buyer. Sales tax applies to works shipped to NY, FL, SC, or MA.

Submissions must include high-quality JPEG images at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Images should be cropped to show only the artwork without matting, frames, or background. An artist statement of up to 250 words describing inspiration and creative process is required. All work prices, titles, and dimensions cannot be changed once submitted and must remain for sale for the duration of the exhibition. Entry deadline is January 11, 2024.
