About This Call
Exhibizone presents Winter is Coming 2024, a juried online group exhibition inviting artists to capture the essence of winter visually and conceptually. The exhibition explores winter's metaphorical significance as a season of quietude, renewal, transformation, and introspection.
Artists are encouraged to submit work in the following themes: Winter Landscapes (snowy vistas, frozen lakes, urban winter scenes), Winter Activities (outdoor winter pursuits), Metamorphosis (personal growth and transformation), Winter Wildlife (animals navigating winter conditions), Conceptual Winter (personal interpretations of winter's meaning), and Winter Abstracts (emotions of winter expressed through colors, textures, and shapes). All interpretations in 2D and 3D art media, abstract or representational, are welcomed. Artists can submit up to 5 artworks, with a maximum of 2 accepted per artist. Submission is free; a USD 35 selection fee applies to selected artists only, with a money-back guarantee until the exhibition opening.
Selected artworks will be exhibited online from January 15 to March 20, 2024, and promoted for sales through the exhibition platform. Benefits include publication in an online exhibition catalogue, digital promotional materials, artwork reviews from visitors, exhibition analytics and sales reports, potential publication in partner magazines and books, a free artist profile page on the Biafarin platform, and a digital certificate. The exhibition is open to all visual artists worldwide creating original work in painting, drawing, photography, digital art, sculpture, printmaking, illustration, mixed media, and other visual art forms. Artworks must be entirely the artist's original work, and artists must retain all rights for international presentation and publication.
