About This Call

The Winnsboro Art & Wine Festival is a juried art marketplace coordinated by Winnsboro Center for the Arts, a Texas non-profit organization. This is the 17th annual festival. The festival takes place in the Cultural Arts and Main Street District in downtown Winnsboro, located approximately 100 miles from Dallas, Texarkana, and Shreveport in East Texas.

The festival runs Friday, November 6, 2026 from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm (wineries open until 8:00 pm) and Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Setup is Thursday, November 5 after 5:00 pm or Friday morning starting at 8:00 am. The Bowery's streets are transformed into an open-air fine arts market featuring fine art, Texas wineries, regional food vendors, and live local music. Admission is free to the public. Last year the festival attracted just over 3,600 attendees.

Accepted artwork media includes: oil, watercolor, glass, pencil, pastels, 2-D/3-D mixed media, photography, sculpture, jewelry, wood, metalwork, printmaking, ceramics, fiber, and textiles. All works must be original. Applications are accepted from both artist and non-artist vendors. The jury fee is $25 (non-refundable). Booth options include single booth (10 x 10) for $200, double booth (10 x 20) for $400, or corner booth for an additional $25. One additional artist to share a booth costs $100. Electricity is available for $10. Booth payment is due by September 1, 2026. A full refund (less processing fees) can be requested through September 1st at midnight; no refunds are issued after this date.

Artists must submit a completed application, three digital images of their work (minimum 300 dpi, labeled with name, media type, and price), and one image of their booth setup. The festival provides a hospitality room, Friday night light dinner for all participating artists and vendors (additional meals available for $12 each), security Friday through Saturday, volunteer runners, and booth sitters for breaks. Artists are responsible for providing tent, tables, chairs, display units, lighting, and other fixtures. Vehicles must be unloaded and moved to designated parking one hour before the show opens and cannot reenter the venue once the festival begins.
