About This Call
October 2025 will mark the 51st year for the annual Winfield Art in the Park! This juried festival features exhibitor demonstration booths, culinary arts, and diverse performing arts to make the event more interactive for attendees. In recent years, there have been crowds of 3,000-5,000 people, and anywhere from 60 to over 100 exhibitor booths. Patrons are introduced to exhibitors presenting a pleasing array of unique fine art & crafts including painters, potters, sculptors, writers, tole painters, woodworkers, and weavers. The festival showcases local music talent from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm, offers food and beverage vendors, and provides free children's activities supported by sponsorship. A Welcome Party is provided on Friday evening before the festival.
Original fine arts including painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, pottery, weaving, jewelry, glass, works in wood, folk art, and fiber art will be considered for judging. Awards for fine arts include Best of Show ($275), 3 Blue Ribbons ($125 each), 3 Red Ribbons ($80 each), 3 White Ribbons ($55 each), and 3 Green Ribbons (honorable mention). Original fine crafts awards include Best Original Craft ($175) and 2nd Place Original Craft ($50). Total prize money exceeds $1,200. No molds, kits, patterns, commercially produced items, or consignment items are allowed.
Booth space is $40 per 12'x12' space. Set up is Friday from 1:00-8:00 pm or Saturday morning between 6:00 and 9:00 am. Booths must be open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Artists who have not exhibited for the last 3 years must submit 3 examples of their work for jury review. All works must be created since 2019, not previously awarded at this festival, original, and for sale. Drawings, prints, and paintings must be framed or matted.
