Wine and Dine Mural Project

The Castle Rock Artist Cooperative (CRAC) is seeking qualified muralists for the commission of a mural in downtown Castle Rock, Colorado. $4,000 has been budgeted for this project. CRAC has secured permission from the owner of Union American Bistro, located at 3 S. Wilcox St., Castle Rock CO 80104, to have a mural painted on their south-facing stucco wall. The mural proposal must be food- and/or drink-related, as the building contains a restaurant.

To apply, submit the following items to [email protected]: your name and mailing address, a Statement of Interest in the Project (250 words or less), resume outlining your accomplishments as an artist and/or muralist, budget (including labor, materials, and travel), and a detailed sketch or mockup of the proposed mural. National artists are eligible to apply. Submission deadline is January 4, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Submit 1-3 images of your work.
