Wimberley Arts Fest 2026

Wimberley Arts Fest, now in its 19th year, is a fine arts festival organized by artists for artists in Wimberley, Texas, located approximately 35 miles southwest of Austin. The festival is sponsored by the Wimberley Valley Art League and its 200+ members and art-loving volunteers. Wimberley is one of just 30 sites in Texas designated as a Cultural District, recognized for its art galleries, live theater productions, live music venues, and public art.

The festival will be held Saturday, October 17th and Sunday, October 18th, 2026, with exhibitor setup available Thursday, October 15th from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm; Friday, October 16th from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm; and Saturday from 7:00 am to 9:00 am. Artist tents will be set up in a convenient downtown location with free parking for exhibitors. The festival runs Saturday 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday 11 am to 4 pm, featuring continuous live music and food trucks. Artist amenities include volunteer booth relief, 24-hour on-site security beginning Friday at 7 pm, promotional materials, advertising, an air-conditioned hospitality area with refreshments, and a complimentary Saturday evening artist cook-out with beer and wine.

Applications are accepted beginning April 8, 2026, with a deadline of August 1, 2026. Notification of acceptance will be sent by August 10, 2026, with payment due by September 15, 2026. A non-refundable application/jury fee of $35 is required for each artwork medium. Booth pricing ranges from $350 for a standard 10' x 10' space to $650 for a double 10' x 20' space, with additional fees for corner and stand-alone locations. Tent rental is available for $250 (10x10) or $350 (10x20). All work must be original and created by the artist; no purchased or commercial items are allowed. A blind jury process is used, with a panel of art professionals reviewing applications. Returning artists are selected by the show director or board. Cancellations with notice by September 15th will receive credit toward the 2027 festival instead of a cash refund. This is a rain or shine event with no refunds for acts of nature.
