Wimberley Arts Fest 2025

Picture yourself in the Texas Hill Country, alongside a gorgeous meandering river with waterfront cabins, selling your art and kicking back in the shade of an ancient pecan orchard. Located about 35 miles southwest of Austin in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, Wimberley is a favorite weekend getaway and day trip location for art lovers from Houston, Austin, Dallas and San Antonio. Now in its 18th year, Arts Fest has gained a national reputation among artists as a fine arts festival organized by artists for artists.

Sponsored by the Wimberley Valley Art League's 200+ members and art loving volunteers, the festival features top-notch attention to detail in planning and services for artists. The event takes place at The Waters Point, a rustic resort located at the confluence of the Blanco River and Cypress Creek, with artist tents set up underneath a pecan orchard with lots of shade. The festival includes onsite parking, great food trucks, continuous live music, 24-hour security, volunteer artist relief, air-conditioned hospitality cabin with refreshments, and a complimentary Saturday evening artist cookout with beer and wine provided.

Wimberley Arts Fest will be held Saturday, April 26 and Sunday, April 27, 2025, with festival hours Saturday 10am-5:30pm and Sunday 11am-4pm. Applications are accepted beginning November 1, 2024, with a deadline of January 15, 2025. The jury process runs January 21-23, 2025, with notifications sent January 26, 2025. Standard 10'x10' booths are $350, double booths (10'x20') are $650, with additional fees for corner booths ($100) and stand-alone sites ($150). A $35 application fee is required for each medium category. Four images are required including a booth shot, and emerging artists are accepted.
