About This Call
The Wilsonville Festival of the Arts @Charbonneau, the 40th Annual Charbonneau Festival of the Arts, takes place October 11-13, 2024, in the Village of Charbonneau in Wilsonville, Oregon. This call is for the Fine Art Gallery. The festival also includes Artisan Booths, a Student Art Gallery with student artwork from area high schools, and a Silent Auction fundraiser.
Juried-in artists are invited to hang up to five pieces, with an option to participate in the Packaged Art Store for matted art and cards. Gallery and Packaged Art Store sales are managed by Charbonneau Arts, with a 20% commission. The event opens with a Gala Opening Night Reception on Friday, October 11, from 6-9 p.m. (tickets required; 2 free per exhibiting artist), featuring food, champagne, music, and a Silent Auction fundraiser for art programs at Canby and Wilsonville High Schools. All venues are open Saturday and Sunday with free admission. The Packaged Art Store is limited to the first ten juried artists who apply on a first-come-first-served basis.
For jurying, submit five photos of your works for hanging art or two sculpture pieces. Photos must be representative of the art you plan to show. Juried-in artists with packaged/matted art and/or cards must provide their own art bin and/or card display. Artists participating in the Packaged Art Store will be required to use the provided "Inventory and Tagging system" for both hanging and packaged art. The event is open to all 2D and 3D artists working in paintings, drawings, photography, and glass art. All work exhibited must be the artist's original work or reproductions of original works. Entry fee is $25.00.
