Wildlife Exhibition

Ashton Gallery @ Art on 30th, a contemporary art center and gallery in San Diego, California, invites regional artists to submit original works of art for the 2019 "Wildlife" 5th anniversary exhibition and fundraiser. This wildlife show honors creatures that share the earth with us. Artists working in painting, sculpture, drawing, or photography are eligible to submit.

Accepted categories include acrylic, oil, watercolor, drawing, photography, assemblage, collage, encaustic, mixed media, fiber art, and 3D art that fits on an 18" x 18" pedestal. The exhibit does not accept jewelry, video, film, performance art, or installations. Submissions must be original work with "D" ring hardware required for installation. All entries must be for sale, with Ashton Gallery retaining 50% commission. All artwork must remain in the show until closing on June 1, 2019.

Three awards will be given by juror Chuck McPherson, plus honorable mentions: Best in Show, First Place, and Juror's Choice. The exhibition runs May 4 - June 1, 2019, with an opening reception on Saturday, May 4 from 6pm-8pm. Entry fee is $35 for the first two entries, plus $5 for each additional image (up to 4 total images). Submit 1-4 images online through CaFÉ before April 12, 2019 at 11:59 PM MDT. Notification of acceptance will be made by email by April 13, 2019.
