WILDLIFE ART Special Event

Life in the West Art Gallery invites artists to participate in a juried exhibit showcasing images of wildlife seen in the American West. All styles of 2D and 3D artwork will be considered in the following categories: Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Mixed Media, and Photography. The objective of this exhibition is to showcase wildlife, their habitats, and the energy and curiosity they demonstrate. These animals and their amazing traits can be depicted in many ways through art—from traditional, contemporary, and abstract styles.

Original works of 2D and 3D art are preferred, but high quality prints and sculpture editions will be considered. Wall hanging artwork may not exceed 48" in width (including frame) and must be gallery ready with a wire for hanging. Sculptures must not exceed 60 lbs, and no ceiling suspended sculptures are accepted. Submit up to 3 images through www.callforentry.org with a $40 entry fee. Artwork will be judged by a three-person jury of professional artists. Acceptance notification is February 18, 2022.

Invited artworks must be received March 7-11, 2022 from 9am-5pm at Life in the West Art Gallery, 555 Alter St. #3, Broomfield, CO 80020. The exhibition runs March 18-20, 2022. All artworks must be for sale and include a tag on the back with title, artist's name, and sales price. The gallery retains 30% of sales; artists receive 70%. All artworks will be insured by the gallery for 70% of the sales price while on premises. Unsold artworks may be picked up at the closing of the show or March 21-22 from 9am-5pm (local artists), or will be shipped by Friday, March 25, 2022. All shipped artwork must include a return prepaid shipping label. Artwork must be shipped in strong, reusable boxes with no Styrofoam peanuts or popcorn. Open to all artists residing within the United States.
