About This Call
Wild Whimsy: The Fantastical Natural World is a winter group show in View's Eco Gallery. The exhibition invites artists working in all mediums to submit works that are fun and fantastical with a natural twist. Your work should invite viewers to reimagine their relationship with the natural world. We are looking for artwork that evokes a playful reverence for nature.
Eligible mediums include painting, sculpture, digital media, installation, and animation. Work must incorporate elements of whimsy or fantastical imagery, with light-hearted, imaginative, or absurdist themes preferred over dark or heavy tones. Artists may submit up to 5 works for consideration. Please note: no living plants, perishable organics, or liquids are permitted due to winter climate and museum policy.
Submission deadline is October 31, 2025. Entry fee is $25.00. Submit 3-5 high-resolution images or video links, an artist statement (250 words maximum), work descriptions, and optional CV or bio via CaFÉ. Selection notification will be sent via email on November 5, 2025. Sales are allowed; View retains 35% commission. Work must remain on view for the full exhibition duration.
