About This Call

The Cultural Center of Cape Cod invites artists to explore their vision of all things wild. Animals have fascinated artists since the Stone Age as actual and symbolic creatures. This exhibition celebrates their raw intrinsic nature surrounded by an essence of power, vulnerability, and instinct. Submit your perspective on WILD THINGS, whether real or imagined.

Open to all fine art mediums including oil, acrylic, watermedia, pastel, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, and digital art (video excluded). Work that is copied or done under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible. Submit 1-20 images in JPEG format. Images must be no smaller than 1920 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi, with a maximum file size of 5 mb.

Entry fee is $20 for the first submission and $5 for each additional submission. Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance. Entry deadline is Friday, October 23, 2020. Winners will be notified by email on November 20, 2020, and displayed in the online gallery. Awards: First Place $500, Second Place $200, Third Place $100. Jurors will make selections by director's choice with no personal feedback provided. All sales inquiries will be directed to the artist's website.
