Wild Landscape of Northeast Oregon Juried Exhibit

The Josephy Center presents the Wild Landscape of Northeast Oregon Juried Exhibit for summer 2016. This is an open invitation for photographers to exhibit original photographs capturing the diversity and beauty of the wild Northeast Oregon landscape (Wallowa, Baker and Union Counties). The exhibit runs August 6–September 20, 2016.

All images must be taken in Northeast Oregon and must represent wilderness, meaning landscapes without man-made influence such as barns, houses, signs or fences. Photos that include people visiting a wild landscape are acceptable only if individuals are unrecognizable. All entries must be the photographer's original work. Entry fee is $35 for three images, with $8 per additional image up to a maximum of 5 total images. Submissions will be judged by fine art photographer and Associate Professor of Photography at Washington State University, Dennis DeHart.

Deadline for artwork submission is June 15, 2016 by midnight (MST). Notification of accepted photographs will be sent July 1, 2016. Delivery of invited artwork is July 20-27 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Limited storage available; return shipping label must be included. Cash awards totaling $1,800 will be awarded at the judge's discretion: First Place $750, Second Place $500, Third Place $250, and Honorable Mentions $100. The exhibit opening reception is August 6 at 7 p.m.
