Wild about Art 2025

Wild about Art is a two-day art fair taking place Saturday, August 9, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday, August 10, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., at the Toledo Zoo. This uniquely wild art fair takes place throughout the beautiful Zoo grounds, featuring local and regional artists with various mediums for sale to thousands of visitors. The event includes entertainment, hands-on activities and of course animals. Visitors are required to pay Zoo admission to enter, though members receive free admission.

Mediums permitted include ceramics, drawing, painting, glass, jewelry, mixed media, metal working, photography, printmaking/graphics, sculpture, textiles and wood. Work does not have to be animal related. The Zoo is a family-friendly environment and certain subject matters, including but not limited to nudity and offensive language and symbols, will not be accepted. All vendors receive one 10' x 10' exterior booth space. Booth fees are $150 for non-Toledo Zoo members and $130 for Toledo Zoo members, with a $20 discount for active Zoo members.

Application requirements include 5 images (4 of your medium and 1 booth shot) and a $25 non-refundable application fee processed through ZAPP. Application deadline is Friday, April 25, with notification of invitation on Monday, May 19. Artists must accept invitation and pay booth fee by Monday, June 9. Artists and up to three assistants receive free Zoo admission and parking. Vendors must provide their own tent, tables, chairs and displays, and electricity is available upon request.
