WIDE OPEN

Art Fluent invites artists worldwide to submit artwork to the online exhibit WIDE OPEN. The theme is open with no restrictions—artists may submit work in any fine art medium including oil, acrylic, watermedia, pastel, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, ceramics, film/video, and digital art. AI-generated work will not be accepted. Work that is copied or done under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible. This call is open to artists worldwide, both amateur and professional. Work previously selected for Art Fluent exhibits will not be considered.

Submissions are due by Friday, September 19, 2025 at midnight MST. Entry fee is $25 for the first entry and $10 for each additional entry, with a maximum of 20 total entries. Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance. For 3D work, there is no need to pay for additional entries for detail shots; additional views may be sent by email to [email protected]. Accepted pieces will be displayed in the online gallery at www.art-fluent.com. Notification of acceptance and online gallery opening will be by Friday, October 17, 2025. All submitters will be notified of the juror's selections by email.

Awards include Best of Show ($750) and two Director's Choice awards ($250 each). The show is curated and juried by Creative Director Amy Matteson Neill along with an anonymous committee of jurors. No personal feedback is given by jurors. For artwork that is sold, artists receive 100% of the sale. A portion of entry fee proceeds is donated to organizations committed to the arts and supporting artists. Cash awards over $600 are subject to federal income tax withholding; winners must submit a W-9 form to Art Fluent, Inc.
