About This Call
The Wicker Park Fine Art Fair will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at 1425 N. Damen Avenue, Chicago, IL 60622 in Wicker Park. This event will include a curated group of fine artists displaying and selling their work, artworks installed in the gardens (the Garden as Gallery), hands-on family art workshops, and tours of the gardens. Some artists chosen to participate will be asked to collaborate with garden designer Doug Wood to create art installations in the gardens.
Artists must submit 3-6 photos of original artwork with their application. All media are welcome including painting, drawing, collage, fiber, sculpture, ceramics, and mixed media. Not allowed are clothing, skin care, and food. The application fee is $20. If accepted, the booth/space fee is $150. Each artist will have a 10 x 10' space; tents are not required. The fair will be held rain or shine, and spaces will be assigned. Artists may share a booth. The fair can accommodate approximately 50 artist booths. Artists are responsible for collecting sales tax and keep all proceeds with no commission to WPFAF. Free parking will be available half a block away. Electricity will not be available. Check-in and set-up time is Saturday, September 12 starting at 7:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at the corner of Damen and Schiller.
Deadline to apply is March 31, 2026. Acceptance letters will be sent by April 15. Payment for booth is due May 1. Artist statements and booth images are not required.
