Wichita National All Craft Media Exhibition

Mark Arts presents the Wichita National All Craft Media Exhibition, a historic show featuring diverse works by artists across the country. Founded in 1945, the exhibition celebrates both traditional and innovative techniques using craft media to communicate the artist's vision. The exhibition will take place from October 9 to December 13, 2025, in the Gladys & Karl T. Wiedemann Gallery at Mark Arts. Artists are encouraged to enter artwork in any traditional or non-traditional craft media, including ceramics, enamels, fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, metalsmithing, paper, wood, and mixed media. Both 2D and 3D works are welcome. Video, new media, and work generated through artificial intelligence will not be accepted. Artwork must weigh no more than 50 pounds and be display-ready with display hardware included.

The exhibition is open to all artists living and working in the United States, both amateur and professional. Work must be created in the past two years and not previously exhibited in Wichita, KS. Each artist may enter up to four pieces. All artworks must be for sale and should promote an environment conducive to welcoming all audiences, including school tours and community outreach programs.

Mark Arts offers $3,000 in cash awards, including $1,500 for first place. The juror is Catherine Futter, Curatorial Chair and Senior Curator of Decorative Arts and Design at the Brooklyn Museum. Results will be notified on August 15, 2025. Artwork must be received by September 13, 2025. An opening reception will be held on October 9 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Mark Arts publishes an illustrated catalog with all accepted entries, and a complimentary copy will be mailed to each accepted artist at the conclusion of the exhibition.
