Whim and Wonder: Juried Art Exhibition by The Mountain Artists Guild

The Mountain Artists Guild invites artists to submit work for Whim & Wonder, a juried exhibition celebrating imagination, curiosity, and the magic of creativity. The show encourages artists to explore the playful, the mysterious, and the unexpected through fantastical imagery, dreamlike scenes, imaginative characters, or moments of beauty that spark a sense of awe. Artists are invited to interpret the theme in their own unique way, allowing their work to transport viewers into worlds filled with creativity, surprise, and delight.

The exhibition is open to all artists working in all mediums, including painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, jewelry, fiber art, and mixed media. All submissions must be original works of art and align with the theme. Four categories are available: Original Paintings, Photography, 3-Dimensional Objects, and Jewelry (100% handcrafted). Entry fees are $30 for the first 3 member submissions ($10 each additional) and $45 for the first 3 non-member submissions ($12 each additional), with a maximum of 5 submissions per artist. All artwork must be delivered in person to the gallery on April 27, 2026; no shipping is permitted. The show runs April 29 through June 27, 2026, with an awards ceremony and reception on May 24, 2026 at 5 pm.
