About This Call
MINT is accepting submissions for "Where We are Going, Where We Have Been," the 3rd Annual Juried Exhibition for emerging artists. The exhibition will be hosted at MINT in Atlanta, GA in February/March 2016 and is co-juried by Atlanta artists Micah and Whitney Stansell.
This is an all-media call welcoming drawing, painting, sculpture, design, glass, metalwork, photography, video, audio, mixed media, installation, and performance art. Eligible artists must be over 18 years old, currently reside in the United States, and meet emerging artist criteria: minimal solo exhibition experience, minimal published arts criticism, and minimal grant/private funding. Artists may submit 4 media files for a $25 entry fee, with additional images (up to 10 total) accepted for $5 each. Works should be created within the last three years. The application opens September 4, 2015 and closes January 5, 2016 at 11:59pm MST through CaFÉ. Selected participants will be notified by January 18, 2016. All works must be delivered to MINT in February 2016; artists are responsible for shipment to and from the venue. One artist will be selected for a solo exhibition at MINT during the following year. Artists traveling to Atlanta for the opening will receive discounted accommodation at the neighboring Highland Inn.
