Where is the Human? | East End Arts National Open Juried Exhibition

Where Is the Human? is a national open juried exhibition inviting artists to consider the question of our humanity through the lens of our own time, as we evolve culturally, technologically, and spiritually. This call welcomes all mediums of visual art, including sculpture and installation. Works can be figurative, abstract, and/or conceptual interpretations of the theme.

Artists can enter up to 3 submissions of work that meet the theme and have not been previously shown at East End Arts. Only digital submissions will be considered. All 3 entries must be submitted at the same time, in the same transaction. All information, including dimensions, must be included with each submission. Submissions that are missing information will be rejected. Work samples may include images (up to 3), audio (up to 3), or video (up to 3), with a minimum of 1 and maximum of 3 total samples required.

Entry Fees: First submission $40 for non-members / $20 for EEA members; additional submissions $25 for non-members / $12.50 for EEA members. Prizes: Best in Show $1,000 cash; 1st Place $500; 2nd Place $250; 3rd Place $100 cash or gift card. Honorable Mentions also awarded. Exhibition runs November 3 - December 17, 2023. Jury selection occurs September 16-25, 2023. This national open call welcomes artists of all ages.
